Responsible AI

We believe AI should quietly do the heavy lifting — keeping chat lively while you focus on your stream — and that you stay in control. We commit to using AI transparently, with respect for your privacy, and always with a human in the loop for anything that matters. We will never use AI to deceive your community, and we'll always make it clear when AI is meaningfully involved.

R3ddyBot uses AI in a small, clearly defined set of places:

• AI Engagement. Replying to viewers in chat using the personality you configure.
• AI personalities. Turning your prompt into a consistent voice for the bot, within the character limit of your plan.
• Assisting setup. Suggesting command and timer wording to speed up configuration.
• Safety. Helping detect spam and abusive content directed at your channel.

AI features are optional. You can disable the AI Engagement module at any time and keep using every other part of R3ddyBot.

The personality you write shapes what R3ddyBot says. You choose the tone, the boundaries, and which channels and modules the AI is active in — and you're responsible for the personality you configure. Our safety filters still apply on top of your prompt.

AI assists; people decide. You and your mods can delete AI replies, mute the bot for a user with !ignore, or turn AI off entirely. Important decisions — like account actions or content removal on our side — involve human review, and you can always reach a real person to question, appeal, or get help with anything an automated feature does.

Our privacy-first principles extend to AI:

• We don't train on your data. Your chat, commands, and personalities are not used to train third-party AI models.
• We don't sell your data. Ever — to AI companies or anyone else.
• We minimize what's used. AI features send only what's needed to produce a reply — the triggering message and your personality prompt — consistent with our Privacy Policy.
• Sensitive data stays out. Payment details are never stored on our servers and are never fed into AI features.
• Your content stays yours. Using an AI feature doesn't change your ownership of the content you create.

AI isn't perfect. Replies and suggestions may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or off tone — R3ddyBot is not a source of truth. Review AI-assisted output before relying on it, and let us know when something looks wrong so we can improve.

We work to reduce bias and prevent harm in our AI features, and we monitor them for unintended effects. We will not knowingly use AI in ways that discriminate unfairly or put streamers and their communities at risk.

We'll be clear about where AI is meaningfully involved in your experience, and your AI usage is visible in the Console. If you have concerns about an AI-assisted feature, or want to opt out, contact us and we'll help.

As AI evolves, so will this page. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Our core promise — transparency, privacy, and human oversight — won't change.
