Privacy Policy
Your trust matters. This policy explains what R3ddyBot collects, what we deliberately don't, and how we keep your data safe.
Last updated: August 1, 2026
The short version
We collect only what R3ddyBot needs to run in your channel, we never sell your data, and we never store payment card numbers or other sensitive financial details on our servers. The rest of this page covers the details.
Who we are
R3ddyBot is operated by R3dLabs ("R3dLabs," "we," "us," or "our"). R3ddyBot is a Twitch chat bot providing custom commands, timers, event actions, AI engagement, and overlay modules. This Privacy Policy applies to r3ddybot.com, the R3ddyBot Console, and the bot itself (collectively, the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account & profile information. When you sign in with Twitch, we receive basic profile details from Twitch's OAuth service such as your username, display name, profile image, and account identifier.
- Channel configuration. The commands, timers, modules, AI personalities, overlay settings, and other configuration you create in the R3ddyBot Console.
- Chat & event data. To respond in your channel, R3ddyBot processes chat messages, command invocations, and Twitch events (follows, raids, subs, and similar) in real time. We retain only what is needed to power features you enable — such as command counters, check-in locations submitted by viewers, and recent activity shown in your dashboard.
- Usage & device data. Aggregated, largely anonymized analytics about how the Console is used (pages viewed, features used, approximate region, browser and device type) to help us improve the product.
- Communications. If you contact us for support, we keep the messages and contact details you provide so we can respond.
What we deliberately do NOT store
- Payment card & financial data. We never store credit or debit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Premium and Super Power subscriptions are processed by trusted, PCI-DSS compliant providers such as Stripe, under their own security standards and privacy policies.
- Passwords. Authentication is handled through Twitch. We never see or store your Twitch password.
- Full chat logs. We do not keep a permanent archive of your channel's chat. Messages are processed to power the modules you enable and are not retained as a searchable transcript.
- Unnecessary personal information. We follow a data-minimization principle and don't ask for sensitive personal information we don't need to run the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain R3ddyBot in your channel.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To run the modules you enable, including chat responses, timers, overlays, and AI replies.
- To process subscriptions through our payment providers.
- To understand usage and improve performance, reliability, and features.
- To communicate with you about support requests, updates, and important notices.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
Viewers in your channel
Some modules process data about your viewers — for example, the Check-In Map stores the approximate location a viewer voluntarily submits with a check-in command, and the Ignore module stores the usernames your mods have muted. Viewers can ask to be removed at any time by contacting you or us, and disabling a module removes its ongoing collection.
AI features
AI Engagement and AI personalities send the message being responded to, along with your configured personality prompt, to our AI provider to generate a reply. Your data is not used to train third-party models. See our Responsible AI page for the full commitment.
Third-party services
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to deliver the Service. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy:
- Twitch — authentication, chat connectivity, and basic profile information.
- R3dLabs — calendar, event announcement, OnDeck, and RaidNow modules, when you enable them.
- Stripe — subscription payment processing.
- AI, analytics & hosting providers — to power AI features, measure usage, and run the Service reliably.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data with these providers only to the extent needed to operate the Service, or when required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your configuration for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual commands, timers, personalities, and module data at any time from the Console. If you disconnect R3ddyBot or ask us to delete your account, we remove your configuration and associated data, except where we're required to retain records by law.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted transport, restricted access, and trusted infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep R3ddyBot safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Your rights & choices
You can review and edit your data in the Console, revoke R3ddyBot's Twitch access from your Twitch connections settings at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.
Children's privacy
R3ddyBot is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
